Explosion in Bengaluru at Rameshwaram Cafe :
Today at around 1 PM, an explosion shook in Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. Four individuals sustained injuries in the incident and were promptly transported to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, their injuries are reported as non-serious, yet they are currently under observation for further assessment.
The initial observation suggest that the blast was caused by an explosive object, possibly concealed within a bag and placed inside the Cafe. The police are currently conducting their investigation and have not yet determined the exact cause of the explosion. Firefighters, police officers, and forensic experts have all arrived at the scene to gather evidence and conduct further inquiries. The bomb squad is also present at the spot for additional measures. The affected Cafe, a popular food court in Bengaluru, witnessed three staff members and one customer sustaining injuries in the explosion, and no casualties have been reported. The Whitefield Fire Station informed reporters that they received a call reporting a cylinder blast at Rameshwaram Cafe and immediately rushed to the scene to assess the situation. BJP MP PC Mohan expressed concern about the mysterious explosion in Bengaluru at Rameshwaram Cafe. BJP Youth Icon and MP Tejasvi Surya is demanding answers from the Karnataka Chief Minister regarding the incident. He posted on his X handle that he spoke to the founder of the Rameshwaram Cafe about the incident and the founder confirmed that the blast occurred because of a bag that was left by a customer and not any cylinder explosion.
The Chief Minister of Karnataka has responded to the explosion in Bengaluru, confirming that the incident at Rameshwaram Cafe was indeed an IED blast. He has assured the public that the accused will be punished and urged the opposition to avoid politicizing the incident
