PM Modi Visit Today : Exciting Development Projects Await Launch in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra

PM Modi Visit Today : During his extensive two-day tour spanning Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ceremoniously laid the foundation stones for numerous development projects in Tamil Nadu, fostering progress and prosperity. Embarking on his tour with a visit to Kerala on Tuesday, Modi graced the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram. In a momentous occasion, he inaugurated three pioneering space infrastructure projects, collectively valued at around Rs.1,800 crore. Later, the Prime Minister reviewed the progress of the Gaganyaan Mission.

On his visit to Tamilnadu on 28th February 2024, the Prime Minister, Modi, laid the foundation stone for numerous development projects in Tamilnadu worth about Rs.17000 Crore. He also marked a historic moment by laying the foundation stone of the Outer Harbor Container Terminal at V.O. Chidambaranar Port. Additionally, he inaugurated India’s inaugural indigenous green hydrogen fuel cell inland waterway vessel as part of the Harit Nauka initiative.

During a public event, the Prime Minister confidently stated that the “People of Tamil Nadu are looking at BJP with hopes.” He emphasized that the nation is currently dedicated to the vision of “Vikshit Bharat,” and the Tamilnadu has an important role in this. Furthermore, He announced that “Today, I have inaugurated four big projects worth Rs. 5,000 crores, which will improve the road connectivity of the state, reduce travel time, and also boost tourism and Industry.”

The Prime Minister directly accused the UPA government  and emphasized that the projects he brought today were the demands of the people here for decades. But they never cared about it. PM Modi also stated that “BJP is a party that adheres to the principle of Nation First.” He further added “Our government spares no effort for the safe return of Indians trapped in crises worldwide. We successfully brought back our pilot, Abhinandan, from Pakistan. Our government has rescued numerous fishermen and ensured their safe return… The Government of India safely repatriated Indians sentenced to death in Qatar.” During the Prime Minister’s speech, chants of ‘Modi Modi’ are heard resonating from the crowd.

PM Modi visit today in Maharashtra : 

At around 4:30pm, a public program in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, will be attended by the PM, where multiple development projects valued at over 4900 crore will be inaugurated. The Prime Minister will distribute 2nd and 3rd instalments of the ‘Namo Shetkari MahaSanman Nidhi’ totaling approximately Rs.3800 crore and 88 lakhs farmers of Maharashtra will be benefitted.

An approximate 825 crore from Revolving fund will be disbursed to 5.5 Lakh women Self Help Groups across Maharashtra. Additionally, the initiation of distributing one crore Ayushman cards across Maharashtra will take place. The launch of the Modi Awaas Gharkul Yojana for beneficiaries from the OBC category is set to take place in Maharashtra. This initiative aims to construct 10 lakh houses from FY 2023-24 to FY 2025-26. During the event, the Prime Minister will transfer the first instalment amounting to Rs.375 Crore to 2.5 lakh beneficiaries of the scheme.

Multiple rail projects worth over ₹1300 crore are scheduled for inauguration, including the Wardha-Kalamb broad gauge line and the New Ashti – Amalner broad gauge line. Additionally, two train services connecting Kalamb-Wardha and Amalner-New Ashti will be virtually flagged off as part of the event.
