Despite being dropped twice, Ollie Pope has played a massive role which made him a hero in modern day test cricket. The first time he was dropped by Axar Patel when he was at 110 and KL Rahul dropped his chance when he was at 186. Indian players have appreciated Ollie Pope after his dismissal, since he played a crucial role for England to set a target of 231 for India in the second innings.

The Indian middle order has to do the job for India to maintain the trend of not losing a test match in home soil since 2012/13. The top order batsmen did not contribute much, and this test match is in a very interesting position with a result looming ahead. India is just 136 runs behind the target and England needs 7 more wickets to win.
